So I thought I'd post what I use to clean away the days makeup, dirt, oils and other icky stuff that gets on our faces :)
I have to apologize for the last photo. I had to use my camera flash as it was too dark to use natural light. Sorry :)
It's important to wash your face off at night as it needs to breathe! and of course you'll get breakouts if your skin can't breathe. I like to be thorough but gentle so I like to use
Pears Oil-Clear Facial Cleanser the smell of this is really quite lovely I can't quite describe it.
I'll then pat my face dry and for any left over mascara/ eyeliner/ eye shadow I will apply a pump of sorbalene cream onto a cotton ball for each eye and wipe off the left over gunk. So my eyes get moisturized as well as cleaned!
Then I use a cotton ball and get some
Niviea Visage Stay Clear Purifying Toner on and pretty much put that all over my face really concentrating on my problem areas. Wait for that to dry and then I use my sworn by product for breakouts,
Benzac Ac.
You can only buy this in chemists and it comes in percentages the lowest being 2.5% for mild acne and the highest at 10% for high acne. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who has problem skin, I did, growing up having rampant hormones my skin was oily and icky and I'd have break outs from my chin, cheeks, nose, forehead and in between after about a week of using this stuff the improvement was insane, it really does work. My younger brother now uses it and as he always has his greasy hair in his face it's made a dramatic improvement!
It's best to start out with the lowest percent if your unsure and don't feel safe self diagnosing your level of acne (lol perhaps a bit gross, but hey, it's only natural) and if there is no improvement then move up a strength, it is slightly costly at about $15 for 50g tube but it should last 2 or so months as it's a water based gel it spreads pretty good so not much is needed :)
